Privacy Policy for AgeCircle
Effective date: 4 November 2026 · Last updated: 4 November 2026App: AgeCircle (working Play title: AgeCircle: Age Calculator) · Package: com.atsofttech.agecircle
Developer: AT Soft Tech · Contact: support@atsofttech.in
This Privacy Policy explains how AgeCircle handles information when you use the Android app. By using AgeCircle, you agree to this policy.
1. Summary
AgeCircle is built to keep your personal people, birthdays, and photos on your device. Core age calculation and personal reminders work without an account and without uploading your private directory.
We may process limited technical and optional account data when you use online features (for example sign-in, public catalogs, crash reporting, analytics, or optional product notifications).
We do not sell your personal data.
2. Who we are
AgeCircle is provided by AT Soft Tech (“we”, “us”, “our”).
For privacy questions, requests, or account deletion help, contact us at support@atsofttech.in.
3. Information we process
3.1 Information that stays on your device
Unless you later turn on a feature that explicitly syncs personal records (cloud sync is currently off), the following stay in app storage on your phone:
- Your profile name, optional photo, and birth date
- People you add (names, dates, relationships, notes, photos)
- Important dates and local reminder settings
- Theme, date-format, and similar preferences
- Optional on-device assistant model file, if you download it
These items are used to calculate ages, show upcoming dates, and schedule local reminders on your device. They are not uploaded to AT Soft Tech for those core purposes.
Android may include some preference data in the device’s backup system. The app is configured so the personal database, photos, owner profile, and downloaded model are excluded from cloud backup where the OS respects those rules.
3.2 Optional account information
An account is not required for core use.
If you choose Continue as guest or Sign in with Google:
- We use Supabase Auth to create or restore a session on your device
- Google sign-in may provide an email address and basic account identifiers to the authentication service
- Signing in does not, by itself, upload your people, dates, notes, or photos while cloud sync remains off
3.3 Public / catalog content
If you open features that load published catalogs (for example Famous Birthdays, baby names, holidays, or horoscope text), the app may request that public content over the internet and cache it on your device. That content is separate from your private people directory.
3.4 Optional product push notifications
Local date reminders use your device’s alarm and notification systems. They are not sent through our push provider as personal birthday data.
If you turn on Product updates in Settings, the app may register for remote notifications using OneSignal over Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). In that case we (and those providers) may process:
- A device push subscription / token
- An opaque account identifier when you are signed in
- A simple account type tag (for example guest or Google)
We do not upload your personal people list or birth dates to OneSignal for push.
You can turn Product updates off in Settings. You can also revoke notification permission in Android settings.
3.5 Crash reporting
The app uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash and stability information, such as:
- Stack traces and device / OS technical data
- App version
- An opaque account identifier when signed in
- Non-personal keys such as account type (guest / Google)
Crashlytics is not used to send your people names, birth dates, notes, or photos.
3.6 Analytics
The app uses Firebase Analytics for limited product analytics, such as:
- Scrubbed screen names (identifiers removed from routes)
- A small set of feature events (for example push opt-in/out, export, opening a reminder alarm screen)
- Opaque account identifier and account type when signed in
We configure Analytics so advertising ID collection is off. We do not log personal directory fields or search text as analytics events.
3.7 Permissions the app may use
Depending on what you enable, AgeCircle may use:
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Internet / network state | Catalogs, sign-in, optional push, crash/analytics, optional model download |
| Notifications | Local reminders and optional product push |
| Exact alarms / alarms & reminders | Time-critical local reminders (subject to Android rules) |
| Boot completed | Restore local reminder schedules after reboot |
| Full-screen intent / vibrate / wake lock | Make time-critical reminder alerts more reliable on some devices |
AgeCircle does not require Contacts access for core use. It does not request location permission for the current Name Studio flow (you pick an origin yourself).
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide age calculation, personal dates, and local reminders
- Optionally authenticate a guest or Google session
- Load and cache public catalog content you open
- Deliver optional product notifications you opted into
- Improve stability (crash reports) and understand feature usage (limited analytics)
- Comply with law and protect the service against abuse
We do not use your private people directory for advertising.
5. Sharing
We share data only as needed to run the features above, with processors such as:
- Google Firebase — Crashlytics, Analytics, and FCM
- OneSignal — optional product push after you opt in
- Supabase — optional authentication and public/admin content APIs used by the app
- Google — if you choose Sign in with Google (their terms also apply)
We do not sell personal information. We do not share your on-device people directory with advertisers.
Third parties have their own privacy policies for the services they provide.
6. Retention
- On-device personal data remains until you delete it in the app, clear app storage, or uninstall the app
- Auth sessions follow the authentication provider’s retention and your sign-out / deletion requests
- Crash and analytics data are retained according to Firebase product settings and Google’s policies
- Push subscription data is retained while you remain opted in or until the subscription is removed
7. Your choices and controls
You can:
- Use the app without creating a Google account
- Deny or revoke notification permission (dates remain usable; delivery may be limited)
- Turn Product updates off in Settings
- Delete individual people and related local reminders in the app
- Export a local file of directory data you choose to save
- Clear app storage or uninstall to remove local app data
- Contact us to request help with account-related deletion for optional sign-in
8. Children’s privacy
AgeCircle is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for an online service beyond what the on-device app stores under a parent or guardian’s control. If you believe a child provided account data to us online, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
9. Interpretive content
Some features (for example astrology, horoscope, numerology explanations) are for entertainment or tradition and are labeled as interpretations. They are not medical, legal, or financial advice.
10. International processing
If you use online features, your information may be processed on servers in other countries by our service providers (including Google / Firebase, OneSignal, and Supabase), subject to their safeguards and applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app’s practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy. For material changes, we will take additional steps when required by law (for example in-app notice or store listing update).
